Lights & Music
LightingBoth lighting and music has proven extremely beneficial to the human body, mind and spirit. The addition of colored lights and your favorite relaxing music during rites, celebrations and festivals, I've discovered, enhances my awareness and receptiveness, and create a positive aura. It may work for you. Give it a shot sometime, and let me know how it works for you! Your Holy Alter to Aset can be greatly enhanced by colored lights. Those party or colored flood lights are really great, you can grab those at grocery stores, or places like walmart. I use purple and teal. Those are my favorite colors! Pick your colors and plug them in. It may make it more fun and happy as well. Choose your favorite colors, and see how it works.
MusicLighting and Music creates positive and beneficial effects and joins with ritual celebrations and festivals to instill an aura conductive to successful and satisfying magickal workings. I like Enya, Egyptian, or Middle Eastern music. I find that those work the best, but experiment, and see what works for you! Drums or Sistrums are great too! Use them when relaxing or meditating, before, after, or during your Celebrations and festivals, and at other quiet times in your temple.
